What a visit looks like
An hour or two in the studio: works in progress on the modelling stand, finished terracottas and bronzes around the room, a conversation about technique, subject and the history of the place. Coffee, never rushed.
Studio visit
The most direct way to understand a sculptor's work is to stand in the room where it is made. Karine Garzi welcomes collectors, curators, journalists and serious enthusiasts to her atelier in Vallauris by appointment.

Scale, weight, patina and surface only resolve in real space. A bronze that looks discreet on a screen often turns out to hold a room; a small terracotta can carry more presence than a much larger piece. Seeing them in the atelier — and beside one another — is the right way to choose.
Visits are arranged by email or phone, generally Tuesday to Saturday. The atelier is in Vallauris, easily reached from Cannes, Antibes, Nice and Monaco.
